A new court date has been set for a Hamilton, Ontario man, charged in connection with a traffic stop near Indian Head this summer, that led to a sizable drug bust

On July 29, the Saskatchewan Highway Patrol pulled over a semi unit on the Number One Highway, and asked Indian Head RCMP to assist.

A search of the trailer led to the uncovered four pallets, containing a total of almost 12-hundred pounds of dried cannabis, or nearly 19-thousand ounces.

The truck driver, 40-year-old Inderjit Singh, was in Indian Head Court Tuesday on drug possession and distribution charges, and his next appearance there was set for January 7.
