I made the trip to Preeceville this holiday season and met with Barb and the fantastic crew there who are involved with Filling the Gap. It’s incredible how much work they do for their community and we are so glad to be able to help out in a small way.

This is the 3rd year that we have been able to make a donation in Preeceville, and a big part of that is because of the sponsorship from Thirsty Dogz Liquor and Grub Hub. Patty and Garth have been a huge supporter of the GX94 Christmas Goodies cookbooks the past few years sponsoring our drinks section, submitting their recipes, letting me use their photo for the drinks divider page this year, and most importantly having me at their business to sell the cookbook.

Even with the super cold temperatures that day, right at the end of November, our great GX94 listeners still came out to get their copy of the book. One listener came in and bought 15 for all of his family to put in their stockings! Listeners brought me their recipes and baking too! Thank you!
