A new court date has been set for a man charged in a case of arson in Ethelbert.

54-year-old Marc Dorais of Ethelbert faces numerous charges, including Arson with Disregard for Human Life, and he’s been remanded in custody to January 6 in Winnipeg.

In the early morning hours of June 1, someone lit a home in Ethelbert on fire from the outside.

A woman and her three children escaped without injury, before the blaze was extinguished.
