CN and CPKC Rail supplied a combined 64% of hopper cars ordered in grain week 20, a modest improvement from the 57% order fulfillment performance seen in week 19. 

That’s according to the Ag Transport Coalition.

In supplying 39% of cars ordered by shippers in week 20, CN performance improved only slightly from the order fulfillment performance seen the prior week. 

CN performance remains below the 90% performance threshold for a twenty-second straight week. 

CPKC performance saw notable improvement, with the railway supplying 85% of shipper orders in week 20 as compared to the 76% performance seen the prior week. 

CPKC performance remains below the 90% performance threshold for a fourth straight week.
