A 40-year-old man is in custody in relation to a death on last week on the Piapot First Nation

Last Saturday evening, Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes located and arrested Robin Kaiswatum in relation to the death of 30-year-old Melanie Asham-Obey from Pasqua First Nation.

He was charged with one count, second-degree murder.

Kaiswatum appeared in Regina Provincial Court today.

Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes continue to investigate.
