Yorkton Terriers dominate SJHL Player of the Week Awards

A trio of Yorkton Terriers was rewarded for their efforts over the past week with SJHL Weekly Award honors.

The 20-year-old forward, Keenan Ingram, was named MVP of the Week after compiling six goals and 11 points over four games, including a four-goal game in Friday’s win over Estevan.

The Calgary product now sits second in the SJHL for goals and is tied for third in points.

 First-year defenseman Bryce Dahl claimed the Rookie of the Week title after scoring a point in every game this week.

 Meanwhile, Saskatoon product Dustin Renas took home the Saskatchewan-born Player of the Week award after netting two goals and adding six assists in four games.

Other award winners included Weyburn’s Angelo Zol as Goalie of the Week, Leighton Carruthers of Flin Flon as Forward of the Week, and Flin Flon Bombers’ rearguard Luke Lepper, who earned SJHL Defenseman of the Week.
