Yorkton RCMP have arrested a Yorkton man in connection with an ongoing drug trafficking investigation in the city.

On Tuesday, Mounties searched a man and his vehicle, and seized crystal meth, cocaine, cash, and evidence of drug trafficking.

On Wednesday, they searched a residence in Yorkton, and discovered crystal meth, cocaine, fentanyl, cash, and more evidence of drug trafficking.

In total, police seized nearly 1.5 kilograms of crystal meth, 936.5 grams of cocaine, 133 grams of fentanyl, and about six-thousand dollars in cash.

20-year-old Taranpreet Singh made his first appearance in Yorkton Provincial Court yesterday (Thu), where he was remanded in custody to next Tuesday.
