A new court date has been set for one of two men, arrested on kidnapping and drug trafficking charges in the Yorkton area.

23-year-old Parteek Sandhu of Etobicoke, Ontario, was in Yorkton Provincial Court today (Mon), where he was remanded in custody to January 20.

His co-accused, 46-year-old Ryan Langford of Yorkton, returns to court the same day.

On July 29, Mounties searched a business in Yorkton as part of a drug trafficking investigation.

They then searched a rural property south of the city, and located a severely injured, forcibly confined man inside a barn.
