A man charged in connection with a shooting at an apartment complex in The Pas remains in custody, after making another court appearance on Friday.
26-year-old Darcy Campbell will be back in The Pas on January 24, on charges including Aggravated Assault and several firearm-related offences.
On December 15, The Pas RCMP were called to a shooting at an apartment complex on Cathedral Avenue, where they found a
42-year-old man in a stairwell with a gunshot wound to his lower body.
He was later airlifted to hospital in Winnipeg, in critical but stable condition.
Witnesses reported two men fleeing the scene, and a warrant was issued
for Campbell, who was arrested December 19, after being spotted re-entering the same apartment complex where the incident occurred.
