A new court date has been set for a former Yorkton man charged with Manslaughter, in connection with the death of a one-year-old girl in Regina.
23-year-old Bailey Peepeetch was originally arrested for Aggravated Assault on October 7, 2020, but the charge was upgraded, when the girl died two days later.
Regina Police say the investigation began when they were called to a hospital for a report of a critically-injured child, and that the injuries were suspected to be the result of physical abuse.
On Monday, Peepeetch’s matter was adjourned to Friday, in Regina Court of King’s Bench.
