Tisdale man charged after stolen vehicle hit RCMP vehicle back in court

 A new court date has been set for one of two people arrested, after a stolen vehicle struck a police cruiser in Hudson Bay.

In Melfort Provincial Court Monday, 22-year-old James Whitehead of Tisdale had his matters adjourned for a bail hearing on February 3.

On November 14, Mounties discovered a stolen truck at a residence on Albert Street.

When they approached the vehicle with emergency lights engaged, the truck sped up and struck the police vehicle twice, disabling it.

Police had to use a taser to arrest one of the suspects..
