Dauphin RCMP investigating second robbery in two nights at same city business

Mounties in Dauphin are seeking tips from the public, as they investigate the second armed robbery in as many nights, at the same business in the city.

The two incidents were virtually identical in how their details.

Shortly after 9 p.m. Thursday night, Dauphin RCMP were called to a business on Main Street, on a report of an armed robbery, in which a male suspect allegedly threatened the employee with a hunting knife, obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, before fleeing the scene on foot.

The employee was not hurt in the incident.

Once again, Mounties used dogs and drones to search for the suspect, but they were unable to locate him.

The suspect is described as being approximately five foot seven inches tall, and was wearing all-black clothing, including a balaclava.
