A new court date has been set for a Yorkton man charged in connection with an ongoing drug investigation.

On January 7, Yorkton RCMP searched a man and his vehicle, and seized crystal meth, cocaine, cash, and evidence of drug trafficking.

The following day, they searched a Yorkton home, and discovered crystal meth, cocaine, fentanyl, cash, and more evidence of drug trafficking.

In total, police seized nearly 1.5 kilograms of crystal meth, 936.5 grams of cocaine, 133 grams of fentanyl, and about six-thousand dollars in cash.

20-year-old Taranpreet Singh was in Yorkton Provincial Court Friday, where he was remanded in custody to next Monday.
