Dauphin RCMP has arrested a suspect in connection to multiple break-and-enters
Dauphin Mounties responded to the call at approximately 3:15 a.m. after a homeowner reported an intruder had entered their residence and stolen money. The suspect fled after being startled.
Police Dog Services and drone units were deployed to search for the suspect. Shortly after, officers detained 18-year-old Jayson Dumas, who matched the description.

Investigators now believe Dumas is connected to at least five other break-ins. He remains in custody, facing 11 charges.
Authorities are asking residents in the SW/SE area of Dauphin to review security footage and report any relevant information to RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
