An Esterhazy woman missed her scheduled court appearance Tuesday on drug trafficking charges, after her arrest last month in Balgonie.
On January 10, RCMP members arrested three people at a business located at the intersection of Highways 1 and 46, and a subsequent search of the suspects and their vehicle, turned up 58 grams of cocaine, along with a small amount of fentanyl and cash.
One of the trio was released without charges, but two others – 49-year-old Christine Duchek and 49-year-old Christopher Haines are each charged with Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking, while Duchek is also charged with Possession of Fentanyl.
Duchek failed to appear in Regina yesterday, and if she no-shows her next scheduled appearance on February 25, a warrant will be issued for her arrest.
Haines will be back in Regina Provincial Court on March 4.
