A man arrested in connection with an assault and firearm complaint on the Ebb & Flow First Nation, has admitted his guilt.

38-year-old Travis Malcolm was in Dauphin Provincial Court yesterday (Thu), where he received a 16-month conditional sentence order, to be followed by one year of probation.

It happened last April, when Mounties were called to Ebb & Flow.

Upon arrival, they heard gunshots, and followed the suspect for over two kilometres through bush, a field, and marshland, before arresting him without incident.
