BLIZZARD 3, STAMPEDERS 5

The Swan Valley Stampeders erased an early two goal deficit as they dumped the Northern Manitoba Blizzard 5-3 on Friday in their “Hockey is for Everyone” Night in Swan River.

Ben Groome led the way for the Stamps with two goals, while Ekam Dhaliwal, Landen Gulutzan and Bennett Muller also scored.

Brett Ward, Quincy Supprien and Hugo Larkin replied for the Blizzard.

Stampeders netminder Elias Giaccarri-Dimitriou was impressive making 34 saves in the win.

Swan Valley will wrap up their 2024/25 season on Saturday night in The Pas for the back end of the home and home with the Blizzard.
