New Court Date for Two Men Arrested After Armed Robbery on Sapotaweyak Cree Nation

Court appearances have been made by two men, arrested in connection with an armed robbery on the Sapotaweyak Cree Nation.

24-year-old Chandler Cook and 27-year-old Cheyenne Cook were in Swan River Provincial Court yesterday (Wed), where they were remanded in custody to April 2.

On November 2, Swan River RCMP responded to a report of a man who allegedly assaulted two men, and forced them to empty their pockets and turn over their cell phones at gunpoint.  

Three people were later arrested in a vehicle at the gas station in Mafeking.
