Prison Time for Woman Who Admitted to Manslaughter on Pine Creek First Nation

A woman who admitted to Manslaughter on the Pine Creek First Nation, has been sentenced.

In June of 2022, Winnipegosis RCMP were called to a report of a stabbing at Pine Creek.

They found an injured 51-year-old man, who was taken to hospital, but he died from his wounds.

In Dauphin Court of King’s Bench yesterday (Wed), 42-year-old Sheryl Thompson was sentenced to ten years in prison, but with time already served in custody, she has 2534 days left to serve.
