Another court appearance has been made by a man, charged in connection with a violent incident at an apartment complex in The Pas.

On December 15, The Pas RCMP responded to a shooting, and found a 42-year-old man in a stairwell with a gunshot wound to his lower body, and he was later sent to hospital in Winnipeg, in critical but stable condition.

Witnesses reported two men fleeing the scene, and Mounties issued a warrant for 26-year-old Darcy Campbell, on charges of Aggravated Assault and numerous firearm-related offences.

Campbell was arrested December 19, after he was seen re-entering the same apartment complex where the incident occurred.

In The Pas Provincial Court yesterday (Thu), he was remanded in custody to next Friday.
