Hey everyone! Olivia here, I just have to share the excitement from last night’s Game 2 of the SJHL Quarter Finals between the Melville Millionaires and the Yorkton Terriers. It was my first live game of the year, and boy was it worth it!
Both teams were on fire, and the energy in the arena was off the charts! Every missed shot had us all gasping with a collective “no!” and every goal was met with wild cheers that could probably be heard for miles. The crowd was absolutely buzzing, and it was so much fun to be part of it.
Now I usually try to stay neutral as a part of GX94, but I couldn’t help myself. I was cheering for the Terriers right along with the crowd, especially when they took home the win in overtime! The vibes were immaculate, and it felt amazing to celebrate with everyone.
Big shoutout to the Millionaires fans too! They showed up in full force and really supported their team, which was awesome to see. Even though I’ll be rooting for the Terriers this round (Yorkton pride!), I’m so proud of both our Highway 10 teams for making it to the Quarter Finals.
You know I had to raid the gift shop!
