Sentencing has been handed down to a Keeseekoose First Nation man, who pleaded guilty to Accessory After the Fact to Murder, in relation to a death on the reserve.
In Yorkton Court of King’s Bench today (Thu), 23-year-old Telesphore Wapash received 903 days in prison.
In November of 2022, Kamsack RCMP were called to Keeseekoose, where they found a 16-year-old Cote First Nation boy, dead at the scene.
20-year-old Edgar Kakakaway Junior is charged with Second Degree Murder in relation to the death.
