Court appearances have been made by two men, arrested in connection with an armed robbery on the Sapotaweyak Cree Nation.
24-year-old Chandler Cook and 27-year-old Cheyenne Cook were in Swan River Provincial Court yesterday (Wed).
Chandler was remanded in custody to April 28 in Dauphin, while Cheyenne was remanded in custody to May 7 in Swan River.
On November 2, Swan River RCMP responded to a report of a man who allegedly assaulted two men, and forced them to empty their pockets and turn over their cell phones at gunpoint.
Three people were later arrested in a vehicle at the gas station in Mafeking.
