Havryil Simchuk scored his second goal of the game 3:46 into overtime to lead the Dauphin Kings to a 3-2 win over the visiting Portage Terriers in Game 6 of their MJHL Semi-Final series.
Simchuk opened the scoring early in the first before the Terriers scored back to back goals from Tristan Gravenor and Rhett Platt to take a 2-1 lead.
Kings captain Ethan Williment tied things up at two to cap off a high-scoring opening frame.
Dauphin netminder Cole Sheffield made 38 saves in the win, while Mitchell Kathler in the Terrier crease stopped 32 of 35 shots.
The Kings who are making their second Finals appearance in the last four years will host the Northern Manitoba Blizzard in Game 1 of their MJHL Turnbull Cup Final this Friday night.
