This past Saturday, the Yorkton Terriers hosted their second annual Celebrity Sports Dinner, an evening filled with excitement, community spirit, and star power. The event, held inside the Yorkton Curling Rink, welcomed former Toronto Maple Leafs first overall pick Wendel Clark as the keynote speaker.
Clark was the center of attention throughout the night, meeting fans, signing autographs, and taking photos. Guests also had the chance to take part in live and silent auctions, with all proceeds supporting the Terriers organization.
Terriers President Curtis Malysh called it a fantastic evening, adding that the support was “phenomenal.” Terriers Governor and Board of Director Grant Ottenbreit echoed the sentiment, crediting the success of the event to the dedicated sponsors and volunteers who made it all possible.
The dinner was catered by The Chalet and continued the momentum from last year’s inaugural event, which featured former NHLer Terry Ryan as the first guest speaker.
