A man is in custody following an alleged assault at a home in Dauphin.
On April 20th, RCMP received a report of an assault on Jackson Street.
Upon arrival, officers discovered that a man had barricaded himself inside the residence and refused to allow entry. Police were forced to enter the home, where they arrested 41-year-old Roland Klyne of Winnipeg.
The investigation revealed that Klyne allegedly threatened and assaulted a 21-year-old woman and held a 36-year-old man at gunpoint.
During a search of the residence, officers seized a sawed-off shotgun, ammunition, and a knife.
He faces multiple charges, including assault and various firearm-related offences.
