Oakbank RCMP are investigating a deadly collision in the R.M. of Springfield.

Just before 6:00 yesterday (SUN) afternoon, responded to the scene of a collision, between a motorcycle and a train, at the rail crossing on Spruce Road, north of Oakwood Road.

The initial investigation indicates the northbound bike, driven by a 15-year-old Oakbank boy, collided with the eastbound train.

The teen was pronounced dead at the scene, but his name has not been released.
