A New Court Date For A Man Involved In A Standoff East Of Dauphin

A new court date has been set for a man who was allegedly involved in a standoff at a home in the Eclipse area, east of Dauphin.
In the early morning hours of February 11th, RCMP received a report of a man armed with a weapon, and that a female was inside the home with possible injuries.
The RCMP’s Negotiation Team and Emergency Response Team were deployed to the scene, and the suspect surrendered to Mounties later that morning.
A 21-year-old woman was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
29-year-old Robert Brown was in Dauphin Provincial Court yesterday (Tue), where he had his matters adjourned until July 7th.
