A new City Manager will begin in Melville next month

After an extensive search, the City of Melville has announced the hiring of a new City Manager.

Joleen Tuchscherer will start her new position in mid-July, after recently serving as the Chief Administrative Office for the town of Foam Lake.

Mayor Walter Streelasky says Tuchscherer brings a lot of valuable experience to the job, including her experience as the acting City Manager for the City of Weyburn.

The position was left vacant in October after the termination of Ron McCullough, who had held the role since 2019.  Director of Community Services Chris Bruce has covered the position in the interim.
