The city of Yorkton tax due date is being pushed back to September 30th. Finance Ashley Stradeski notes that the three extra months will give residents time to plan their taxes, especially after the province’s property re-valuation. Meantime, the base tax in Yorkton saw a 34-dollar increase, but Stradeski notes that residents will still see a zero percent tax increase, due to the recent property re-valuation.
