RCMP say one person is dead, and another was injured, in a two-vehicle collision near Fort Qu’Appelle yesterday (TUES).

The investigation continues, but police say the crash happened around 3:00 yesterday afternoon on Highway 10, about seven kilometres southwest of Fort Qu’Appelle, where a semi and pickup truck collided.

A passenger in the pickup, identified as a 54-year-old Macoun, Saskatchewan man whose name has not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene, while the pickup driver was sent to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The semi driver was not injured.
