2 Men Appear In Dauphin Court On Separate drug Busts

A new court date has been set for a Grandview man, committed to stand trial in connection with a drug bust in Dauphin. 39-year-old Steven Catagas had his matters adjourned to Dauphin on August 3rd. In March of 2019, Dauphin RCMP conducted a traffic stop on Main Street, and a search turned up 764 grams of cocaine, and various drug paraphernalia.
Meantime, a man arrested near Dauphin on drug and weapon charges was also in court there. 25-year-old Josiah Yury’s matters adjourned to June 20th. In July of 2020, Mounties searched a rural property in the R-M of Dauphin, seizing a stolen vehicle, about 30 grams of cocaine, cannabis, ammunition, and bear spray.
