Fundraising efforts are now underway to replace the 67 year old Arena in the Town of Langenburg.

A Rink project committee has been in place for a number of months in effort possibly upgrade the existing arena, but the committee decided today that replacing it would be more feasible.

The town’s Chief Administrative Officer Glenda Lemcke says like any small town, the arenas are the heartbeat of the community.

So far over $17,000 has been raised with more donations trickling in.
