A 26-year-old man who was the subject of an arrest warrant in connection to a homicide in the community of Cormorant, Manitoba has been taken into custody.
The Pas RCMP say Carl Nabess-Genaille was arrested in Brandon by RCMP Major Crime Services, with help from Brandon Police, RCMP Police Dog Services and Blue Hills RCMP.
He is charged with Manslaughter and Failing to Remain at the Scene of a Collision Causing Death.
They stem from May 11, when The Pas Mounties responded to a report of an injured man on a roadway, the 26-year-old was later pronounced dead at the scene.
