A man found guilty of charges in connection with an armed robbery on the Muscowpetung First Nation made another appearance in Regina Court of King’s Bench yesterday (TUES).
In March of 2019, Fort Qu’Appelle RCMP responded to an armed robbery at a business on the reserve, and 29-year-old Jarrett Poitras was arrested on several charges, including Robbery with a Firearm.
He was convicted on several charges on June 17, 2021.
Poitras remains in custody, and the Crown made its recommendations regarding sentencing on June 2nd, and the another sentencing hearing is set for July 18th in Regina K.B., when the defense will make its submissions.
