Sentencing has been handed down to a Waywayseecappo First Nation woman, accused of assaulting two people in Russell.

33-year-old Renee Gambler was in Russell yesterday (WED), where she received one year of probation.

On December 15th, Russell RCMP were called to a business in the town, where an employee claimed to be assaulted.

They later learned that a five-year-old child had been assaulted by the same suspect earlier in the day.
