A date has been set for the CFL’s comeback season.
The league’s Board of Governors unanimously approved a 14-game-season to begin on August 5th and finishing with the 108th Grey Cup on December 12th in Hamilton, Ontario.
Back in April, the CFL stated it would only move forward with a season if they gained necessary approvals from governments in terms of keeping players and coaches safe, and to allow a significant number of fans in the stadiums.
A full schedule will be released tomorrow, along with each team’s plan for season tickets and ticket sales to the public, based on government restrictions on stadium capacity.
CFL training camps are set to begin on July 10th.
