A Pasqua First Nation man who was arrested last month on several charges, has made another court appearance. On June 2nd, 30-year-old Colten Obey pled guilty to Assault with a Weapon and a Breach charge, with another weapon charge withdrawn, and he was handed a six-month conditional sentence. He was released from custody, and appeared again in Fort Qu’Appelle yesterday on a charge of Sexual Assault, with the matter set over to July 22nd in Regina Court of Queen’s Bench. Obey faced five charges in all, in connection with a number of incidents between August and December of 2021.
