A Fort Qu’Appelle man is in custody after an assault in Regina, yesterday evening.

Queen City police were dispatched to assist a male who was bleeding from a large laceration.

Police located a residence where the altercation appeared to take place, and inside was a second male covered in blood, and what was believed to be the weapon used in the incident.

41-year-old Nathan Oliver is charged with Aggravated Assault, and was scheduled to make his first appearance in Regina Provincial Court today.
