No one was injured when a C.P train derailed and caught fire early this morning on highway 16 114 km east of Saskatoon. It happened between Guernsey and Plunkett, and RCMP are currently diverting traffic from Plunkett to Watrous, then to Guernsey. The train was hauling crude oil, and the RCMP say smoke from the resulting fire was so thick it reduced visibility to near zero. Initial reports also indicate there is no impact on local waterways. It’s not known how many rail cars jumped the track
