The Swan Valley Stampeders wrapped up their 3 game in 3 nights road-trip on Sunday on a high note as they used a 6 goal third period to lead them to a 7-3 victory over the Winnipeg Blues.
The Stamps fell 3-2 in OT on Saturday in Steinbach after defeating the Pistons on Friday night, 5-2.
Nathan Carl (2G 1A) and Mattias Dal Monte (1G 2A) led the Stamps with 3 points each while Ryley Lanthier also scored twice.
Parker Johnson and Frazer Dodd chipped in with singles while Stamps’ G Jayden Little made 19 saves on 22 shots to earn his 1st MJHL victory.
The Stampeders’ will head on the road for another 3 game trip this weekend starting on Friday night against the Selkirk Steelers.
