There are multiple pictures and videos of a tornado that touched down near Foam Lake this afternoon (Wed).
That’s part of some severe weather that is traversing through the Parkland Region, as a number of tornado watches, severe thunderstorm watches and thunderstorm warnings are in effect for many areas of Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm that is possibly producing a tornado. Damaging winds, large hail and locally intense rainfall are also possible.
There are also pictures and videos circulating online of a tornado touchdown in the Watrous-Manitou area, a tornado by Margo, a funnel cloud by Invermay, and toonie to golf ball sized hail in the Lanigan area.
SaskPower crews have been dispatched to outages in the Wynyard, Foam Lake and Wadena areas.
