A guilty plea has been entered, by a Muscowpetung First Nation man, charged following a serious assault on the reserve, in the fall of 2016.
At his appearance yesterday (THU), in Fort Qu’Appelle Provincial Court, 35-year-old Wade Morris Lerat plead guilty to Aggravated Assault and Unlawful Confinement, and sentencing was sent for January 16th.
Lerat and two other men, who have since been convicted and sentenced, were charged following an incident, which took place on September 18th and 19th, 2016, in an isolated part of the reserve, that resulted in a 42-year-old man requiring hospital care.
