Hehr steps down as Head Coach & GM of Yorkton Terriers (SJHL)

The SJHL’s Yorkton Terriers have announced that Mat Hehr has stepped down from his position of Head Coach & General Manager to pursue other hockey coaching opportunities.

The 34 year old, Sherwood Park, AB native joined the club in 2016 as Assistant Coach and then took over as Head Coach & GM during the 2017/18 campaign.

Hehr compiled a record of 127-130-16 as bench boss of the Terriers.

The hockey club has announced that the search for a new Head Coach and General Manager has already began.
