Another court appearance for a man, arrested in connection with threats involving weapons on the Sioux Valley Dakota Nation.

On July 20th, Virden RCMP were called to a home at Sioux Valley, where two males were allegedly theatened with a machete and a firearm.

The suspect was eventually arrested, and the firearm turned out to be a pellet gun.

41-year-old Bruce Blacksmith appeared yesterday (WED), and his matters were adjourned to September 13th in Sioux Valley.
