A Yorkton woman, accused of driving impaired in a stolen vehicle, has admitted her guilt. 37-year-old Dezaray Quewezance was in Yorkton Court yesterday, where she pled guilty to a total of nine counts, including Theft of a Motor Vehicle, Impaired Driving, Dangerous Driving, and Assaulting a Police Officer. With credit for time served, she was given an additional 868 days behind bars, and ordered to pay $10,000 in restitution. On June 6th, Yorkton Mounties received a report of an impaired driver, and once they located the vehicle, the suspect tried to get away and struck a police cruiser, but she was later arrested.
