Canadian Western Agribition Reports a Successful 2019

Canadian Western Agribition in Regina is reporting a successful year with a net income of 325 thousand dollars for 2019.

CEO Chris Lane says the profits are about 150 thousand dollars higher than the previous year.

He says there was good support from exhibitors and last fall’s show welcomed over 10 thousand students, and more than 13 hundred international guests from 86 countries.

The 50th annual show has been postponed until 2021 because of the Coronavirus, and Lane says Agribition faces the possibility of losses as high as one million dollars this year.
