Grenfell Man Accused of Stealing 38-Thousand Dollars in Stolen Goods Was in Regina Court

A Grenfell man faces several charges, including Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, after an investigation in Regina led to the recovery of over 38-thousand dollars in stolen goods.

On July 8th, members of the Regina Police Online Stolen Property Unit were alerted to a suspicious man selling what looked to be brand-new merchandise online.

Over the next few days, police searched a vehicle, hotel room and storage locker in the city, recovering dozens of items that had been confirmed stolen from a local business, ranging from power tools, to camping supplies, and a wakeboard. A firearm was also recovered.

56-year-old Joseph Paul Evrard made his first appearance in Regina Provincial Court yesterday (MON), and was released from custody, to appear again on July 26th.
