Sask. Seek Intervener Status In A Carbon Tax Challenge

Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe says our province will seek intervener status in the Alberta government’s court challenge on the constitutionality of the federal carbon tax. Alberta’s justice minister says the province has filed a reference case with the Alberta Court of Appeal. In May, the Saskatchewan Court of Appeal ruled that a federally imposed carbon tax is constitutional.
