A new court date has been set for one of three people, arrested in connection with a violent home invasion on the Cote First Nation.

In Kamsack Tuesday, 19-year-old Jamie Quewezance was remanded in custody to August 10th.

Her co-accused, 18-year-old Sidney Rogers and 19-year-old Phoenix Shingoose, have each been sentenced to prison time, and a lifetime firearms ban.

Kamsack RCMP say in the early morning hours of May 2nd, they were called to a home, on a report of a violent break, enter, and assault.

Upon arrival, they found a man, who was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
